Biography
Party Central are all seasoned musicians who love to share their passion for music. Three quarters of the band met whilst supporting local jam nights and decided to join musical forces before auditioning for the final member... the rest is history.
With different musical backgrounds, the band focused on choosing the perfect blend of party songs to give the crowd an uplifting evening, which also comes with laughter and a comfortable distinct Party Central stage magic!
Clare
Lead Vocals
Clare comes from a musical family and grew up regularly watching her dad's covers band, Falling Rock. She began in originals bands in her students days and has penned many of her own songs. Her covers band experience started in classic rock groups. Professionally trained as a vocalist at Hertfordshire Theatre School, she is no stranger to the stage and has performed in numerous locations including the West End. Clare has a BA (Hons) and an MA in Performing Arts subjects and demonstrates an impressive range vocally, with clean lyrical delivery and sweet tonal shades and resonance. An advocate of the industry standard, Clare uses a wireless, Swarovski encrusted, Shure Beta 58a microphone and in-ear monitoring.
Westdog (Rob)
Lead Guitar/ Backing Vocals
Guitar Extraordinaire! Westdog holds a Music Degree and teaches guitar theory and practice full-time, so is barely without one in his hands. Expect perfect chord shapes and technical lead breaks, he's got it all!
Dan
Bass Guitar/ Backing Vocals
Dan comes from a musical family who are known for their contributions on the Northants music scene. He is an accomplished bassist, sporting a five string Dingwall Combustion fan fretted bass guitar with Mark Bass amplification. Dan has played in numerous bands and is bassist in an originals metal band named Divine Solace who tour and have played many large events and festivals including Bloodstock. With an eclectic taste and technical genius, Dan is a wizard on bass demonstrating his own inimitable funky groove.
